will NXG work for me?

    I have a Mitsubishi 60WDC9. Do I "NEED" to get the 3DC-1000 Starter Kit (MSRP $400, found it for $200 the other day) or can I use this?

    NXG Technology NX-3DGRKIT Active Shutter Rechargeable 3D Glasses With Infrared Emitter for Mitsubishi

    In case I need other hardware, I will be using the 3D technology for 3D Blue Rays (assume I can get a software and play it from my laptop to TV,) XBOX 360 games and regular viewing of 3D movies on HBO and ESPN 3D.
