Viewing a 3D MKV movie

    A friend sent me a copy of a 3D movie with the extension MKV. Assuming he did everything will I be able to view this movie on my system? I have a 3D tv and player which both have USB ports. Can I copy the movie to a Jump Drive and watch the movie? I assume I need to make sure the extension is supported by the tv or player.

    Is there a BETTER or more proper way to view a 3D movie sent to me?
