In the “for what it’s worth” category, I just processed a few side-by-side stereo pictures that I took years ago with my Nicon D5000 using a Loreo stereo lens attachment. I used “stphmkre” to build mpo files from the side-by-side JPEG files. I copied the mpo files onto a memory stick and viewed them in stereo on my 3D TV using my NEX 5 camera. Works great.
I suspect a lot of you old timers already new this could be done, but it was new to me and might be of some interest to some.

I may also point interested people towards the free MPO Toolbox, a very simple and easy to use set of 3D Stereoscopic MPO file conversion programs : http://stereoscopynews.com/download/software/654-mpo-toolbox.html
