Lg cinema 3d tv no longer plays 3d from flash drive

    I have had a 47" cinema 3d tv for over a year now and have played many side-by-side 3d movies from a flash drive. Plug in the drive, select media player, push the 3d button on the magic remote, then select the side-by-side 3d icon and I was good to go. It didn't matter if it was an avi, mkv or any others. It worked flawlessly. Now after a firmware update, I no longer get the 3d format options after I press the 3d button. All I get is 2d to 3d icon. I talked to an lg tech. and they said I should reset my tv to factory settings. I did and still its a no go. The media player I originally used is no longer there and mx player seems to be its replacement. Any suggestions or ideas would be greatly appreciated.
