    i have a question:
is 720p bluray better on a 1080p screen than on a 720p screen?
i ask this because i watched ces 2012 last night and lg are bringing out a 4k screen the resolution is ultra definition 4K resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels the tv title is
LG 84" UD (ULTRA DEFINITION) 4K 3D LCD TV

if a 720p film isnt any better on a 1080p screen rather than on a 720p screen then that would mean a 1080p bluray film would be no better resolution wise on this 4k screen and i dont think people are making films in this resolution the highest res is 1080p.
    what do you think?

the tv is passive like my current 3dtv (lg650t 47")
