Converting old View Master reels to digital for VR headset/3D TV

    The View Master reels that were popular in the 60s featured two stereoscopic film images side by side, creating a realistic 3D effect for the images. I would like to scan these reels to a digital format to be viewable on a VR headset or 3D TV. Is there any software to assist in aligning these scans, instead of manually manipulating the image, exporting and loading for each small adjustment?

    I have attached two frames as an example of what I am working with.
