    hi,

I am totally useless with technology and have no idea what I'm doing, so if anyone could help me it would be much appreciated!!
I have a Panasonic Smart Viera 3D TV and have just purchased a Sony 3D Blu ray player. I wanted to know if I can connect the blu ray player to my laptop so I can play the 3D blu ray films that I have downloaded???? If so, is it done by linking a HDMI cable to the player and laptop?

    Thanks for any replies.
