Won't it be great when we don't need glasses for 3D? This is a great start, but I think that in reality we're talking many years before a reasonable non-glasses 3D TV hits the market. The picture quality and having to sit in the center make this set undesirable.
It's going to be a while yet The no glasses technology is going to be a while yet at the general consumer level, the problem seems to be delivering a reasonably wide angle for viewing. The recently Toshiba RegzaWL768 series available in 40,46 and 54" screen sizes is very nice and great value.
there is plenty of autostereo which works for multiview advertising but it wont fit into the home until multiview is over 9 angles.
