Kevin if you have a 2d tv there is no way to make it play blu-ray 3D,you can still watch 3D films in 3D but only the anaglyph type of film, this is the sort you wear the red/cyan glasses for, the type of image that is on here in the 3D picture section,
    They are cheap on ebay
    Code:
    http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_trksid=p5197.m570.l1313&_nkw=red+cyan+glasses&_sacat=0&_from=R40
i suggest you get some and look at the pictures on this forum to see if you like it.then make sure you only buy the films that use this system, although i think they will be older films.

Just looked on ebay and i guess this is what you mean, this is talking about converting to anaglyph for viewing 3d on a 2d set,i had already said you can buy anaglyph films for viewing on 3D on 2D sets and they arnt bad,but for proper 3D the film needs to be made with two cameras side by side and a 3D set for viewing,if you first buy some red/cyan glasses cheap on ebay you will find anaglyph clips to watch on you tube to see if you want that, but no conversion can give you proper 3D no matter what you watch it on
The large film studios convert some of there films to 3D and to be honest even viewed on a 3D set its rubbish.
    • 3D Program for 2DTV
    • When you want to watch 3D program on 2D TV
    • Use Red/Blue or Amber/Blue glasses
