Haha, I suppose this was to be expected - you know the technology has taken off once the adult industry has adopted it!
I received a press kit from the company with the DVD. It's pretty bad, as far as 3D is concerned. The DVD also has a 2D version. As far as the 3D version, it comes with 2 pair of glasses that have the red and blue cardboard glasses. So, it's that old technology. And there is no 3D that I saw that even worked! Save your money. Porn fans, though, may get a kick out of it. 3D fans will be greatly disappointed.
Funny you should bring it up, but Avatar is coming out in 3D!! (Not the pornographic version, though) If you buy a Panasonic 3D TV on or after 12/1/2010, you will receive two pairs of Active Shutter Glasses and a copy of the Avatar 3D Blu-ray discs. Those who bought Panasonic 3D TVs before 12/1/2010 can receive a copy of the disc by mail if you can provide a purchase receipt.
