is anyone looking at getting a Sony 3D-TV? i am looking at getting the Sony HX800, i was first put off a little because the 3D transmitter is external but Sony assured me in an email it is the same quality as the 3D inbuilt TV's.

i am thinking to spend as much as you can afford on the 3D-HDMI (1.4) Cable to get the most out of a PS3, the Monster cables are looking pretty sweet so far!

Anyone else care to share what they are looking at buying in terms of 3D-TV?

from memory the Monster 1.4 HDMI Cable was fairly expensive around $280, i am sure there are going to be alot cheaper ones but i am not going to bother, for my current HD setup i have Pure-AV Silver series HDMI Cables and they where around $200 each.

    Changed my mind!

I have changed my mind! i now want to get the Sony KDL-52LX900, it has the bonus of inbuilt 3D and comes with 2 pairs of 3D-Glasses, also has a heap of other features over the cheaper models.

check out this info on the LX900

sony monitors are pretty bad for 3d images ghosting. they are supremely good for 2d images, but panasonic vt series tvs are a step above for experiencing 3d at the moment. LG polarised screens are more suitable for 3d in my opinion
