Hi all,

As far as I know 3D active shutter glasses is controlled mostly with infrared signals.

And we know that infrared is also used for remote controller (RC) communication.

Is there a possibility of communication problems for glasses during RC use?

How do they overcome this problem and provide robustness in communication?

Does anyone have an idea ?

Hi ogutatinc,

I'm not sure the method that they will use to sync glasses with the display, but as infrared is still used to control the TV, I'm sure it won't interfere. Remember, there are probably lots of IR transmitters near most TVs (DVD & Sat remotes) and they manage to avoid problems. I'm sure it just uses a transmission method that is dissimilar to normal remote controls .
